What is the 2023 Asphalt Paving and Resurfacing project?
The Public Works – Capital Projects division undertakes an annual program of roadway paving and resurfacing aimed at renewing and extending the life of the Town’s road infrastructure. Candidate roadways are identified through various condition assessments, maintenance histories, resident complaints, and future development considerations. The 2023 program incorporates approximately 5Km of roadway repaving and resurfacing.

Fox Farm Gate from Bethesda Road to Sherrick Drive
Existing asphalt surface will be pulverized, regraded, compacted. A new asphalt surface will then be placed. Driveways and shoulders will be restored.
Sherrick Drive from Cedar Ridge Road to End
Existing asphalt surface will be pulverized, regraded, compacted. A new asphalt surface will then be placed. Driveways and shoulders will be restored.
Iroquois Drive from Felcher Boulevard to End (Incl. Rosedale Crt, Summit Pl, Calsberg Pl & Estyn Crt)

McCowan Road from Vivian Road to Bows Street
Existing top asphalt surface will be milled and new asphalt surface will then be placed.
Balson Boulevard from Maple Crescent to End
Existing top asphalt surface will be milled and new asphalt surface will then be placed.
Elmvale Boulevard from Cedarvale Boulevard to End
Existing top asphalt surface will be milled and new asphalt surface will then be placed.
Maple Crescent from Cedarvale Boulevard to Elmvale Boulevard
Existing top asphalt surface will be milled and new asphalt surface will then be placed.
Rosehill Drive from Cedarvale Boulevard to End
Existing top asphalt surface will be milled and new asphalt surface will then be placed.
Cedarvale Boulevard from Ninth Line to End
Existing top asphalt surface will be milled and new asphalt surface will then be placed.
Alderwood Street from Greenwood Street to Millard Street
Existing top asphalt surface will be milled and new asphalt surface will then be placed.
Road Closures and Traffic Control
The 2023 project may require full road closure (local traffic permitted) or reduced lanes during paving activity. Notice of construction will be delivered to affected residents prior to construction.
