Project Update
The Town of Stouffville’s contractor, Hebster Construction Inc., (the “Contractor”) has completed most of the major reconstruction works including installation of sanitary sewer and services, watermain and water services, storm drainage, curb and gutter, and placement of base asphalt.
The Town’s Contractor will be returning to O’Brien Avenue the week of April 14th to resume construction.
What’s Next
The remaining work includes placement of top asphalt for road and driveway aprons, sidewalk replacement, sod installation, and boulevard restoration.
What Residents Can Expect
Construction activity will resume, and construction completion is anticipated for July 2025. Any planned disruptions to driveway access or Town services will be communicated in advance. Please label your trash and recycling containers as the Contractor may be required to move the containers once work is underway. Traffic disruptions are expected during construction, and the Contractor will implement all necessary traffic control measures to ensure safety and minimize delay.
