Project Overview

A new park is set to enhance the community experience at 185 McKean Drive in Stouffville, forming an integral part of a subdivision development. Spanning 16, 003.55 m2 (1.6 ha), the park will be situated at the intersection of McKean Drive and Yakefarm Boulevard, within Ward 3.

The park is envisioned as a multi-use destination that supports recreation, social connection, and outdoor enjoyment for residents of all ages.

Proposed amenities may include:

  • A children’s playground
  • Spray pad
  • Seasonal outdoor rink
  • Adventure play zone
  • Outdoor seating areas with shade structures
  • Sport courts
  • Walking trails
  • Fitness stations
  • Open green space


This Council-approved initiative will be spearheaded by Landscape Planning Limited, with the Town overseeing the entire design process. The consulting team has developed preliminary concepts as part of the project’s design phase. The Town is now seeking community input to help refine the final park design.

Residents are invited to learn more about the project and share feedback.


Public Meeting

Residents attended a public meeting on April 2 at 19 on the Park to review the draft concept plan and provide input.

Community members are encouraged to complete the survey to help inform the final design. The survey will close April 17, 2026.
