Planning for a Safer, Smarter and More Connected Future
The Town of Stouffville and York Region are teaming up to launcha study focused on the future of Ninth Line through the Musselman’s Lake area — andcommunity engagement and long-term planning is at the heart of it.
While early conversations began back in 2018, progress was paused due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Town and York Region are moving forward to study options intended to improve Ninth Line for all travellers.
What Will the Study Do?
The study will look at several key areas:
Traffic flow and road safety
Active transportation infrastructure
Traveller and community concerns
Property access issues
Long-term maintenance and repair needs
During this processwe’ll work closely with the community to create a shared vision that reflects local priorities and supports future investment.
