Planning for a Safer, Smarter and More Connected Future

The Town of Stouffville and York Region are teaming up to launch a study focused on the future of Ninth Line through the Musselman’s Lake area — and community engagement and long-term planning is at the heart of it.

While early conversations began back in 2018, progress was paused due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Town and York Region are moving forward to study options intended to improve Ninth Line for all travellers.

What Will the Study Do?

The study will look at several key areas:

  • Traffic flow and road safety
  • Active transportation infrastructure
  • Traveller and community concerns
  • Property access issues
  • Long-term maintenance and repair needs

During this process we’ll work closely with the community to create a shared vision that reflects local priorities and supports future investment.

Community First
