Phase 1 – Aurora Road (north side), from McMullen Drive to Ballantrae Gates Plaza
The Town has awarded the tender for construction of a sidewalk along Aurora Road (north side), from McMullen Drive to Ballantrae Gates Plaza to Quality Property Services (QPS). The work includes:
Clearing and grubbing along the sidewalk alignment;
Installation of 2.0m wide asphalt sidewalk;
Line painting and tactile plate installation; and
Drainage culvert and grading works.
Work will begin once weather conditions allow.
WSP Canada Inc. has been retained to provide full time site inspection services during construction.
Any planned disruptions to driveway access or Town services will be communicated in advance. Please label your trash and recycling containers as the Contractor may be required to move these containers once work is underway. The Town is not responsible for damage or loss to privately-owned appurtenances located within the public road right-of-way. Please ensure that any such appurtenances are removed prior to construction.

Week of May 26: Traffic control measures and earthworks.
Week of June 2: Culvert installation and concrete works.
Week of June 9: Concrete works and asphalt installation.
Week of June 16: Pavement markings and inspections.

The Town has retained the services of WSP Canada Inc. to complete the investigation and design for this portion of the sidewalk works.
